Day Charters

Whether you prefer fishing or duck hunting, you can't do better than a full-day outing with Captain Griff.

Day charters include:

  • Fishing: boat (1-4 per boat). All rods, reels, snacks, bait, lures, wading equipment included.
  • Duck Hunting: blinds
  • Fishing/Duck Hunting Combo: all mentioned above.

Important: for hunting trips, you will need to provide your own shotgun, shells, camo gear, rain gear (camo), and proper license.

Griff's Guide Service provides professional fishing and duck hunting charters in Port O'Connor, Texas. Captain Ken Griffin is a local, Port O'Connor resident and full-time, licensed guide. Full-day charters are available, as well as overnight accommodations in the Fishin' Fun Lodge. Fishing trips available for wade, drift and bay fishing, from Matagorda Island to San Antonio Bay. Enjoy catching speckled trout, redfish, and red drum. Hunt the back lakes of Matagorda Island for Red Heads, Pintails, Gadwall, Widgon, and Teal from comfortable blinds. Ken is also available for tournaments, and duck hunting trips. Children are welcomed.
